Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from New Orleans to near
Tampico, Mexico. Strong to gale force northerly winds are
already observed in latest observations with building seas to
11 ft. The gale force winds will continue and move south off
Veracruz today and gradually diminish by early Tue. Strong winds
will follow the front through the early part of the week, with
conditions improving across the basin by middle of the week as
the front pushes well southeast of the area.

.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft,building to
5 to 7 ft after midnight.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front over SE portions of the basin will
dissipate while moving east of the area today. Fresh winds and 
higher seas in the wake of the front will gradually diminish 
today. Another cold front will make its way across the Southeast
 Plains and move offshore Florida today, then sink across the 
Bahamas and Turks and Caicos through mid-week. Strong NE winds 
with building seas will follow this front. Low pressure may form
 along this front later in the week. 

.TODAY...S of 27N,E winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N,S winds 10 to
15 kt, shifting to W in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and N 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft,building to 5 to 7 ft in NE swell after
midnight. Scattered showers. 
.TUE...NE winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and NE 20 to 30 kt N of
27N. Seas 6 to 9 ft in NE swell. Scattered showers. 
.TUE NIGHT...NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. Scattered
