Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from southwest Louisiana to
Port Aransas near Corpus Christi will continue to move southeast
off the Texas coast tonight. Ahead of the front, a mix of showers,
thunderstorms and some areas of fog are possible in the nearshore
waters off Texas. Strong winds will follow the front through the 
early part of the week, reaching gale force within 60 nm of 
Tamaulipas early Monday, then Veracruz Mon night. Conditions will 
improve across the basin mid-week as the front pushes well southeast
of the area.

chance of showers. 
.MON...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front over SE portions of the basin will
dissipate while moving east of the area into tonight. Fresh
winds and higher seas in the wake of the front will gradually
diminish through tonight. Another cold front will make its way 
across the Southeast Plains and move offshore Florida Mon, then 
sink across the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos through mid- week. 
Strong NE winds with b uilding seas will follow this front. Low 
pressure may form along this front later in the week. 

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.MON...S of 27N,E winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N,S winds 10 to
15 kt, shifting to W in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.MON NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and N 20 to 25 kt
N of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers. 
.TUE...NE winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and NE 20 to 30 kt N of
27N. Seas 6 to 9 ft in NE swell. Scattered showers.
