Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front stretches across the Gulf of
Mexico from the coast of Florida near 31N85W to the coast of
Yucatan near 21N89W. The front will sweep across the SE Gulf of
Mexico today, exiting the basin by late this afternoon. Fresh winds
will accompany the front with rough seas. Winds and seas will 
begin diminish by tonight. Light to gentle variable winds are 
expected Tue through Thu.

.TODAY...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in NW swell. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 8 to 11 ft in NW swell. 
.TUE...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft in NW swell. 
.TUE NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED...NW winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front will enter the NW offshore
waters early this morning. Gale- force conditions are expected to
develop along the front N of 30N between 78W and 80W by early this
morning. Rough seas are also expected with the front. Winds will 
fall below gale- force by late this afternoon, with winds 
becoming moderate to fresh Mon night into Tue. Seas will begin to 
subside by Mon night and fall below 8 ft by Tue night.

35 kt, shifting to W 20 to 25 kt in the afternoon. Seas N of 27N,
