Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Surface high pressure centered NE of the central
Bahamas will remain nearly stationary through the weekend
supporting moderate to locally fresh return flow across the
central and western basin, increasing to fresh to strong Fri
night as the pressure gradient increases ahead of a strong cold
front forecast to come off the coast of Texas on Sat night.
Strong to near gale force northerly winds will follow the front. 
The front is forecast to move east of the gulf Mon morning. Winds 
and seas associated with the front will gradually subside through 
Mon night. 

.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.FRI...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.SAT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SUN...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered NE of the central Bahamas
will remain nearly-stationary through the weekend. The high 
pressure will weaken and move east on Sun evening ahead of a 
strong cold front moving off the northeast Florida coast Sun 
night. Fresh to strong southerly winds are forecast to the N of 
the Bahamas ahead of the front Sat night, increasing to near
gale force speeds Sun and continuing through Mon morning.
Building seas associated with the front will subside to the east 
of the Bahamas by mid-week. 

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt
