Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Winds and seas will diminish over the eastern Gulf
today, as high pressure builds in. The center of the high will
cross the northern Gulf into Fri. Later on Fri and continuing
into the weekend, fresh southerly return flow will establish
over the western Gulf.  

.TODAY...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure has moved northeast away from the NW
waters, and will continue moving farther away today. A cold
front extends from the low to around 31N71W to central Cuba. The 
front will move east through the waters the remainder of the week.
leaving strong NW winds in place through tonight. High pressure 
will build in starting Thu.

.TODAY...W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 20 to
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in NW swell.
