Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A 1008 mb extratropical low is in the east-central Gulf, accompanied by gales, particularly within about 120 nm of the center in the N semicircle. This low will track NE and move inland into Florida by midday, ending gales for the NE Gulf of Mexico. Showers and some strong thunderstorms will accompany the low and its trailing cold front across the far eastern Gulf of Mexico, before the front moves SE of the area this evening. Fresh to strong winds and seas of 8 to 10 ft behind the front will gradually subside Wed.
