Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A 1010 mb extratropical low in the central Gulf is
accompanied by gales. This low will strengthen as it moves NE
and into Florida on Tue, with gales continuing along its path,
mainly within about 120 nm from the center in the NW semicircle.
Showers and thunderstorms will also accompany the low pressure
as well as the trailing cold front that will cross out of the
basin by Tue night. Strong to near gale force NW winds will
occur behind the front, but diminish Wed as high pressure builds
in.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TUE...W winds 25 to 35 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.TUE NIGHT...NW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. Slight chance 
of tstms.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from east of Bermuda to around 27N73W
then transitions to a warm front and continues to South Florida.
The warm front will continue northward as low pressure cross the 
NE Gulf and Florida into Tue. This low will then move NE to the 
north of the area Tue night into Wed, with gale force winds 
developing on both sides of it for areas N of 27N and W of 70W. A 
trailing cold front will cross the region Wed through Thu. 
Building high pressure behind the low should lead toward tranquil 
conditions Thu night and Fri. 

...GALE WARNING...

.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in NE swell. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.TUE...S of 27N,S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. N of 27N,S winds
10 to 15 kt, becoming S to SW 20 to 25 kt in the afternoon. Seas
4 to 6 ft in SE swell. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TUE NIGHT...SW to W winds 20 to 30 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 25 
to 35 kt N of 27N. Seas 6 to 8 ft in W swell. Scattered showers 
and isolated tstms. 
.WED...S of 27N,NW winds 15 to 20 kt. N of 27N,W to NW winds
25 to 30 kt, diminishing to 15 to 20 kt in the afternoon. Seas
5 to 7 ft in NW swell.
