Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A 1012 mb extratropical low in the central Gulf is
accompanied by gale force N winds. The low should deepen and 
steadily move northeastward and reach the Florida peninsula on 
Tue. Gale force N winds are anticipated to continue in the low's 
W semicircle, but are likely to only cover a limited region. As 
the low crosses Florida, it will drag a cold front across the SE 
Gulf by Tue night. Strong to near gale NW winds behind the front 
will quickly diminish on Wed. Conditions across the Gulf will be 
quiescent on Thu.

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 20 to 25 kt, shifting to S after
midnight. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TUE...W winds 20 to 35 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. Scattered showers and
slight chance of tstms. 
.TUE NIGHT...NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. Chance of
showers and slight chance of tstms. 
.WED...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal boundary from near Bermuda through the NW 
Bahamas will begin to retreat northward by early Tue as a warm 
front. Low pressure over the central Gulf of Mexico will move 
northeastward to offshore NE Florida and Georgia by late Tue.  
Near the low, strong to gale force SW winds are expected over N 
waters Tue through Wed night. Building high pressure behind the 
low should lead toward tranquil conditions on Thu and Fri.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in NE swell. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.TUE...S of 27N,S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. N of 27N,S winds
15 to 20 kt, becoming S to SW 25 to 35 kt in the afternoon. Seas 
4 to 6 ft in E swell. Scattered showers. 
.TUE NIGHT...SW to W winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and SW to W
25 to 35 kt N of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft in W swell. Scattered 
showers and isolated tstms.
