Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Strong winds and rough seas follow a cold front
moving into the northwest Gulf this afternoon. The front will
continue to move across the northern and western Gulf through
Fri. The front will stall from near Naples, Florida, to the Bay 
of Campeche this weekend, before dissipating. Looking ahead, 
another front will move into the northwest Gulf early Mon, and 
move south of the basin Tue, followed by high pressure building 
over the northern Gulf. 

.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.FRI...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.SAT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A shear line extends along 24N into the central 
Bahamas. Fresh to strong NE to E winds and rough seas are
evident a couple of hundred miles to the north of this line. The
shear line will dissipate through this evening in advance of a 
cold front that will move off the NE Florida coast Fri. The
front will stall along roughly 28N this weekend, before lifting 
north ahead of a strong front that will move off the northeast 
Florida coast Mon. The second front will reach from Bermuda to 
eastern Cuba by late Tue.

20 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered tstms.
