Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge prevails across the Gulf waters today
providing gently to moderate E winds. Southerly return flow
increases across the NW Gulf Wed night ahead of the next cold
front forecast to enter the region Thu. The front will remain
nearly stationary along the northern Gulf Fri. A reinforcing
high pressure will push the front across the Gulf this weekend
with fresh to strong northerly winds behind it. The front will
reach the SE part of the basin by Sat night.  

.TODAY...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.THU NIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered

.SYNOPSIS...The cold front currently near 30N58W will continue 
moving E through Thu. Large seas follow the front covering the 
waters N of 21N. The front will remain over the SE waters while 
gradually weakening Thu. The seas will gradually subside over
the next couple of days. The next cold front will move off NE
Florida on Fri, then stall. Reinforcing high pressure will push
the front across the region on Sat. 

.TODAY...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.THU NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S
10 to 15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to SW to W 5 to 10 kt
in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.SAT...NW to N winds less than 5 kt, shifting to W in the
