Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...In the wake of a cold front, strong W-NW winds
encompass the basin north of 23N, with moderate to fresh winds
elsewhere. Seas of 12 ft or greater north of 22N and east of 94W
 will gradually subside to below 8 ft by Sun. Fairly tranquil
marine conditions are then forecast for the end of the weekend
into next week. 

.OVERNIGHT...W to NW winds 20 to 30 kt Seas 8 to 14 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from 31N72W to across the western Bahamas
to central Cuba will move slowly east and reach a Bermuda to 
eastern Cuba line by the end of the weekend. Fresh to strong winds
are expected on both sides of the front through Sat night, mainly
north of 27N. Seas of 8 ft or greater will continue to fill in 
across the northern waters tonight, then linger through Sun before
decaying. The front will weaken as it stretches from 30N65W to 
the Turks and Caicos Islands Mon with gentle to moderate NE flow 
then prevailing into mid-week.

.OVERNIGHT...SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt late. Seas 3 to 4 ft S of
27N, and 5 to 7 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.SAT...W winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 5 to 7 ft N of 27N. Slight
chance of showers.
