Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...In the wake of a cold front, strong NW winds
encompass the basin, with gales over portions of the
north-central and NE basin. The gales will end early this
evening, but strong winds will prevail through tonight. Seas of
12 ft or greater will impact most of the basin through tonight,
then gradually subside to below 8 ft by Sun.

.TONIGHT...W winds 25 to 35 kt. Seas 11 to 16 ft in W to NW
swell. Scattered showers. 
.SAT...W to NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 9 to 14 ft in W to NW
swell. Chance of showers. 
.SAT NIGHT...NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in W to NW
swell. Isolated showers. 
.SUN...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft in W to NW swell.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from 31N75W to the Florida Straits will
move slowly east and reach South Florida will move slowly east 
and reach a Bermuda to eastern Cuba line by the end of the 
weekend. Fresh to strong winds are expected on both sides of the
 front through Sat night, mainly north of 27N. Seas of 8 ft or 
greater will continue to fill in across the northern waters 
tonight, then linger through Sun before decaying. The front will
 weaken as it stretches from 30N65W to the Turks and Caicos
Islands Mon with gentle to moderate NE flow then prevailing into
mid-week.

.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT...SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 20 to
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers. 
.SAT NIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
