Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front extending from SE Louisiana to
Tampico, Mexico will continue to move quickly across the Gulf,
accompanied by a band of showers and thunderstorms, some strong,
through tonight. Fresh to strong southerly winds will continue
ahead of the front. Strong to gale force W to NW winds and
building seas are expected behind the front over the northern
Gulf waters through Fri.  

.TODAY...SW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft, building to 5 to
7 ft in the afternoon. Scattered showers. 
.TONIGHT...W winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.FRI...W winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 8 to 11 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...W winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 8 to 13 ft. 
.SAT...W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 8 to 11 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal boundary extending from 31N65W to the
central Bahamas will shift eastward while dissipating. Fresh to
strong winds are mainly N of 28N ahead of the front. The next
cold front from will sweep across the region Thu night through
Fri night, then stall from 31N68W to eastern Cuba over the 
weekend. Fresh to strong winds and building seas are expected on 
either side of this front.

.TODAY...S of 27N, S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt, Seas 2 ft or less.
N of 27N, S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt, increasing to 15 to 20 kt in
the afternoon, Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or
less. Scattered showers.
