Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southerly winds will develop across
the NW Gulf ahead of a cold front expected to push off the Texas
coast later this morning. The front will move across the Gulf
region through Thu night. Fresh to strong winds are expected
ahead and behind the front, with building seas to 12-14 ft in
the wake of the front by Thu. Frequent gusts to gale force are
forecast over the north-central and NE Gulf late Wed night
through Fri before winds quickly diminishing early Sat.
Therefore, a Gale Warning has been issued for these area valid
from late Wed night through Fri. A band of showers and
thunderstorms will be associated with the front.  

.TODAY...W to NW winds less than 5 kt,  shifting to S to SW in
the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft late. Scattered showers. 
.THU...SW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers. 
.THU NIGHT...W winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 31N70W to south-central 
Florida will reach from 31N67W to the Straits of Florida today 
and from 31N65W to the central Bahamas by tonight. The front
will dissipate over the SE waters on Thu. The next cold front is
expected to sweep across the region Thu night through Fri night,
then stall from 31N68W to eastern Cuba during the upcoming
weekend. Fresh to strong winds and building seas are expected on
either side of these fronts. 

.TODAY...W winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, W winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to SW late. N
of 27N, NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to S to SW late. Seas
2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers.
