Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through
today and produce gentle to moderate winds. Fresh to strong
southerly winds will develop across the NW Gulf tonight into Wed
ahead of a cold front expected to push off the Texas coast on
Wed. The front will move across the Gulf region through Thu
night. Fresh to strong winds are expected ahead and behind the
front, with building seas of 12-13 ft in the wake of the front.
Frequent gusts to gale force are also expected over the
north-central and NE Gulf Wed night through Fri before quickly
diminishing early Sat. 

.TODAY...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...N to NE winds less than 5 kt,  shifting to S to SW in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers. 
.THU...SW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A deepening, non-tropical low pressure system with 
gale-force winds is located N of area about 215 nm ENE of Cape 
Hatteras, North Carolina. The associated cold front is moving  
eastward across the northern forecast waters. Fresh to strong 
southerly winds and building seas are expected ahead of it. A 
cold front will move off NE Florida coast today, and bring more 
fresh to strong winds across the waters N of 27N. Both fronts
are forecast to merge by tonight. The next cold front is
expected to sweep across the region Thu night through Fri night
producing  another round of fresh to strong winds north of the
Bahamas. 

.TODAY...W winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N,
