Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge of high pressure will persist north of
the Gulf through tonight, supporting tranquil conditions across
most of the basin. Stronger higher pressure will build across
the region by Sun, allowing winds and seas to increase over the
SE Gulf over the weekend. A weak cold front will move across the
Gulf on Mon and Tue, with little enhancement of the winds and
seas.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Sam is northeast of the forecast area near
31.4N 61.2W tonight and moving N-NE near 15 kt. Swells generated
 from Sam will impact the regional waters through the weekend. 
High pressure will build in to the area in the wake of Sam, which 
will bring moderate to occasionally fresh winds through Tue. 

.OVERNIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt after midnight. Seas 3 to
5 ft. 
.SAT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and E 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
