Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from Sarasota, Florida to
Veracruz, Mexico will continue to move southeastward through
tonight, stall from roughly Fort Myers, Florida to the coast of
Veracruz, Mexico near 18N95W Fri, then dissipate Sat. Fresh winds
will follow the front into tonight. Looking ahead, winds and seas
will diminish across basin from Sat and into early next week as 
high pressure builds over the northern Gulf. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...1009 mb low pressure, the remnant low of Peter, is
near 23N67W and will dissipate as it drifts northeast of the 
region through Fri. Meanwhile, a cold front extending from
31N79W to Cape Canaveral, Florida will stall from 31N77W to near 
Fort Pierce, Florida by tonight, then dissipate through early Sun 
just before a second weak front possibly moves into the region 
early next week.

.THIS AFTERNOON...W winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and SW to W
5 to 10 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N,E to SE winds less than 5 kt. N of 27N,N
winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to S to SW 5 to 10 kt after midnight.
