Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will extend across the eastern
and central Gulf of Mexico through Tue. This pattern will
support continued gentle to moderate winds and mostly slight
seas across the Gulf. An early season cold front is expected to
enter the NW Gulf early Wed and reach from the NE Gulf to
central Bay of Campeche by late Thu before stalling, supporting
increased winds and seas over the northwest and north-central
Gulf Tue night through Thu.  

.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.  Scattered 
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.THU...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.THU NIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Recently downgraded Tropical Depression Peter near 
20.5N 65.0W 1009 mb at 5 PM EDT moving WNW at 7 kt. Maximum 
sustained winds 30 kt gusts 40 kt. Peter will move to 21.3N 66.1W 
Wed morning, to near 22.3N 67.2W Wed afternoon with maximum 
sustained winds 25 kt gusts 35 kt, then become a remnant low near 
23.2N 67.4W late Wed night, reach near 24.2N 66.9W Thu afternoon, 
to near 25.3N 66.1W late Thu night and to near 26.7N 65.1W Fri 
afternoon. Peter will change little in intensity as it moves to 
near 28.7N 63.7W Sat afternoon and dissipates on Sun. Elsewhere 
west of 70W, gentle to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas 
will persist over open waters through late Wed night. Winds will 
then become light and variable through the weekend. A weak cold 
front will move across the waters east of NE Florida Thu and stall
through Sun.

.THU...S winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and SW 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
.THU NIGHT...E winds less than 5 kt, shifting to S after
midnight. Seas 2 to 4 ft in E swell. 
.FRI...SW winds less than 5 kt, shifting to N in the afternoon.
