Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will extend across the eastern
and central Gulf of Mexico through Tue. This pattern will
support continued gentle to moderate winds and mostly slight
seas across the Gulf. An early season cold front is expected to
enter the NW Gulf early Wed and reach from the NE Gulf to
central Bay of Campeche by late Thu before stalling, supporting
increased winds and seas over the northwest and north-central
Gulf Tue night through Thu.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Gentle to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas 
will persist over open waters through the week. A cold front will
move over the northwest waters Thu and reach from the north- 
central waters to central Florida from late Thu through Fri 
night. Farther east, Tropical Storm Peter, near 19.9N 64.7W 1008 
mb at 11 AM EDT is moving WNW at 8 kt. Peter is forecast to stay 
well E of the region as it weakens and moves northward toward 
Bermuda through late Sat.

.THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft in NE to E swell. Winds and seas higher
in and near scattered showers and thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.WED...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
