Nicholas will continue to move inland and weaken to a tropical depression near 30.1N 94.7W this evening. Tropical storm conditions will remain over the SE Texas and SW Louisiana adjacent waters through late this afternoon. Some gradual development of this system is forecast thereafter, and a tropical depression could form later this week while the system moves NNW or N across the western Atlantic.
