.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Nicholas near 28.4N 95.8W 988 mb at 11 PM 
EDT moving NNE at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds 65 kt gusts 80 
kt. Nicholas will move inland and weaken to a tropical storm near 
29.6N 95.4W Tue morning, inland to 30.2N 94.8W Tue evening, move 
inland and weaken to a tropical depression near 30.3N 93.7W Wed 
morning, inland to 30.3N 93.3W Wed evening, inland to 30.3N 93.0W 
Thu morning, and become a remnant low and move to 30.5N 92.5W Thu 
evening. Nicholas will dissipate late Fri.

.SYNOPSIS...Quiescent conditions will prevail through Wednesday.
Meanwhile, an area of low pressure is forecast to form by 
midweek a couple of hundred miles north of the southeastern or 
central Bahamas as a tropical wave interacts with an upper-level
trough. Some gradual development of this system is possible 
thereafter, and a tropical depression could form later this week
while the system moves NW across the western Atlantic. This 
system has a low chance of formation in the next 48 hours and a 
medium chance through the next 5 days.
