.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Nicholas near 22.5N 95.5W 1007 mb at
11 PM EDT moving N at 2 kt. Maximum sustained winds 35 kt gusts
45 kt. Nicholas will move to 24.7N 96.5W Mon morning, 27.0N
96.5W Mon evening, 28.6N 96.1W Tue morning, inland to 29.9N
95.4W Tue evening, inland to 30.4N 94.8W Wed morning, and move
inland and weaken to a tropical depression near 31.0N 94.0W Wed
evening. Nicholas will become a remnant low as it moves to 31.7N
92.0W by late Thu.

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal boundary will linger across the area 
through Mon which will bring showers and thunderstorms across
the area. Otherwise, quiescent conditions will prevail through
Wednesday. Meanwhile, an area of low pressure is expected to 
form north of the southeastern or central Bahamas in a few days 
resulting from a tropical wave interacting with an upper-level 
trough. Gradual development of this system is possible, and a 
tropical depression could form later this week several hundred 
miles southeast of the Carolinas while it moves northwestward 
across the western Atlantic. This system has a low chance of
formation in the next 48 hours and a medium chance through the
next 5 days.
