Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak low pressure N of the Yucatan Peninsula will
move slowly NE over the central and NE Gulf of Mexico over the
next couple of days. Upper level winds are currently unfavorable
for development, but they are forecast to become somewhat
conducive for limited development as the system nears the
northern Gulf coast Wed and Wed night. Aside from this low
pressure, high pressure will bring light to gentle winds and
slight seas into late week.  

.TODAY...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.WED...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.WED NIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered

.SYNOPSIS...Although Major Hurricane Larry will remain well E of
the area, swells from the hurricane will impact area waters late
this week. Also late this week, low pressure may cross E across
the SE U.S. and emerge into Atlantic waters. Otherwise, weak high
pressure will dominate.

.TODAY...SW winds less than 5 kt, shifting to SE to S in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft in NE to E swell
in the afternoon. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 5 to 10 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft in NE to E swell. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.WED...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW less than 5 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft in NE to E swell. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.WED NIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
