Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southwest to west winds over the NE
Gulf will persist through tonight ahead of a frontal trough.
Then, light and variable winds will prevail over the NE Gulf
during the upcoming weekend. Elsewhere, a ridge will dominate
the Gulf region producing mainly gentle to moderate southerly
winds through Fri. Pulsing fresh winds are expected northwest of
the Yucatan Peninsula at night through Fri. 

.TODAY...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NW winds 15 to 20 kt,  shifting to SE to S 10 to 15 kt
late. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.THU...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.THU NIGHT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft, subsiding to 2 ft
or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...NW winds less than 5 kt,  shifting to SW late. Seas

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southwest winds are expected just
off northeastern Florida today ahead of a frontal trough forecast
to move southward over northern Florida and the northwestern 
waters through Fri night. Then, the trough will weaken as it moves
across the northern waters W of 70W Sat through Sun night. 
Looking ahead, swells generated by tropical cyclone Larry are 
expected to reach the waters NE and E of the Leeward Islands on 
Sun, likely reaching 65W on Mon.

.TODAY...S of 27N, E winds less than 5 kt, shifting to W in the
afternoon. N of 27N, SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of
27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N. 
.THU...S of 27N, SE winds less than 5 kt, shifting to S to SW in
the afternoon. N of 27N, SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less
