Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough will move into the eastern Gulf Wed
night into Thu morning, bringing fresh N to E winds. Otherwise,
high pressure pressure will dominate the basin through Fri,
producing mainly gentle to moderate E to SE winds. Fresh winds
will pulse west of the Yucatan Peninsula tonight and again Wed
night. A broad area of low pressure is expected to form over the
southwestern Caribbean Sea in a couple of days. Environmental
conditions are forecast to be conducive for development of the
low if it remains over water, and a tropical depression could
form late this week or this weekend while the system moves
northwestward over the northwestern Caribbean Sea, across the
Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, and into the southwestern Gulf of
Mexico by Sunday. Regardless of development, winds and seas are
forecast to increase across the Gulf waters during the upcoming
weekend.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough just east of the Bahamas is
producing fresh to strong NE winds across the central Bahamas
reaching the coast of Cuba. This feature will move westward
bringing fresh to  locally strong NE winds to the the NW Bahamas
and SE Florida including the Straits of Florida on Wed before
the trough weakens by late Thu. Otherwise, a 1022 mb high
pressure located near Bermuda will dominate the remainder of the
forecast region through at least Wed. Fresh to locally strong
winds are expected to pulse N of  Hispaniola during the evening
hours through Sat night.

15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of
27N.
