Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends across the northern Gulf.
The front will weaken Fri while lifting northward, and dissipate
Fri night just north of the area. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms will continue over the northern half of the basin
through Fri. Elsewhere, a surface ridge will dominate the Gulf 
waters over the next several days producing gentle to moderate 
anticyclonic winds. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...S winds 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Seas 3 to
4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to E to SE 5 to 10 kt
after midnight. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.FRI...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from 31N80W to
Jacksonville Florida. The front will lift north of the area by
Fri morning. Fresh southwest winds and scattered showers and 
thunderstorms will continue just east of the front offshore NE 
Florida through this afternoon. Elsewhere, a surface ridge 
associated with the Bermuda-Azores high will persist for the next 
several days. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...S of 27N,SE winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon.
