Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure persists across the northern Gulf
while a trough extends from offshore of Tampa Bay, Florida to
near 23N93W. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
persist on either side of the trough axis through tonight as it
drifts westward. Atlantic high pressure will begin to build
westward into the Gulf region Wed and Thu with a ridge
persisting along 27N into Sat.

Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...The Atlantic ridge dominates the forecast area. An 
area of showers and thunderstorms is over the NE waters, and 
will continue to move northward. A broad inverted trough along 
60W will move quickly westward and across the SE waters through 
tonight, then north of the Greater Antilles and across the 
southern Bahamas Wed through Thu. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...S to SW winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and S
5 to 10 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 ft N of
27N. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 ft N of 27N. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
