Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure persists across the northern Gulf
while a trough extends from near Fort Meyers, Florida to near
24N90W. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
persist south of the trough through tonight as if drifts
westward. Atlantic high pressure will begin to build westward
into the Gulf basin Wed and Thu.

.SYNOPSIS...A 1012 mb low pressure center is currently located 
near 30.5N81W moving NW at 7 kt. Environmental conditions are 
gradually becoming less conducive for a tropical depression to 
develop before the low moves inland over northeastern Florida or
Georgia later this morning. An elongated area of showers and 
thunderstorms will continue to spread north and northwestward 
across the waters E of 75W through tonight. A broad inverted 
trough will enter the SE waters Tue night and move westward and 
across the Bahamas through Thu night. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of
27N. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 ft N of 27N.
