Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure remains centered over the NW Gulf
while a trough extends from South Florida to near 26N90W. Widely
scattered showers and thunderstorms will persist south of the
trough through Mon night as if drifts westward. Atlantic high
pressure will begin to build westward into the Gulf basin Wed
and Thu.

.SYNOPSIS...A 1011 mb low pressure center is currently located 
near 30N80W moving W at 6 kt. This system has changed little in 
strength since yesterday. Environmental conditions are
marginally  conducive for development, and a tropical depression
could still  form tonight or early Monday while the low drifts
westward to  west-northwestward towards the coasts of Georgia
and northeast Florida. An elongated area of showers and
thunderstorms associated with  a Caribbean tropical wave along
73W will continue to spread north and northwestward across the
waters E of 75W through Tue. 

.OVERNIGHT...Variable winds 20 to 30 kt within 120 nm of the low.
Seas 6 to 8 ft. Elsewhere S to SE winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 6
ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
