Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 1018 mb located over the NW Gulf
dominates most of the basin while a trough extends from South
Florida to near 27N89W. Showers and thunderstorms will persist
south of the trough, forecast to drift northward over the next
couple of days as the low pressure located about 130 nm east of
Daytona Beach, Florida, drifts westward or west-northwestward
toward the northeast coast of Florida. At the same time, the
high pressure will move toward SE Louisiana.

showers and isolated tstms.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A 1012 mb low pressure center is currently located 
about 130 nm east of Daytona Beach, Florida moving W at 4 kt. 
This system has changed little in strength since yesterday. 
Environmental conditions are marginally conducive for development,
and a tropical depression could still form later today or early 
Monday while the low drifts westward or west- northwestward toward
the northeast coast of Florida. An area of showers and thunderstorms
associated with the northern extent of a Caribbean tropical wave,
with axis along 72W/73W, will move northward across the E waters 
through Tue.

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of
27N. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.MON...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to 15 kt N of
