Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 1017 mb located over the NW Gulf
dominates most of the basin while a trough is over the NE Gulf
drifting southward. Showers and thunderstorms will continue
south of the trough today. The high pressure will meander and
weaken through Mon as a low pressure currently located east of
Daytona Beach, Florida moves slowly westward toward the Florida
Peninsula, then westward across north central Florida Sun night
and Mon and into the NE Gulf.  

.TODAY...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.MON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...A 1011 mb low pressure center is currently located 
near 29N78.5W and moving slowly W. Environmental conditions 
appear only marginally conducive for additional development, but
a tropical depression could still form over the next day or so 
while the low drifts westward towards the Florida Peninsula. 
Scattered squalls and tstms associated with a tropical wave
along 72W will move across the SE waters and north of the
Greater  Antilles through tonight. Winds will veer SE to the
west of 60W  through Mon as the Atlantic ridge shifts NE and
weakens. 

.TODAY...S to SE winds 10 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NE to E 15 to 20
kt N of 27N. Seas 2 to 3 ft, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N. Scattered 
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
