Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...1020 mb high pressure is centered across the
northwest Gulf of Mexico tonight and will drift meander and
weaken through Mon as low pressure meanders offshore of the
Atlantic waters of central Florida. This is expected to produce
tranquil marine conditions across the Gulf through early next
week.  

.TODAY...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
in the afternoon. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft late. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.MON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...The Atlantic ridge is centered on a 1026 mb high 
near 35N41W and extends W-SW to the NW Bahamas. Moderate to
fresh trades will prevail south of 25N through Sun. Low pressure
near  29.5N78.5W 1015 mb has a trough that extends SW to central
  Florida. Environmental conditions are forecast to be
marginally  conducive for additional development of this low,
with potential  for it to become a tropical cyclone over the
weekend while it  meanders near or just offshore of Florida.
Scattered squalls and  tstms associated with a fast moving
tropical wave will move across the SE waters and north of the
Greater Antilles through tonight.
