Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The Bermuda High extends across Florida to a second
1023 mb high across the north-central Gulf of Mexico. This high
pressure ridge will drift westward over the weekend as low
pressure meanders offshore of the Atlantic waters of Florida,
providing tranquil marine conditions across the Gulf through
early next week.  

.TONIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Isolated showers 
and thunderstorms.
.SAT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SAT NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...The Atlantic ridge is centered on a 1027 mb high 
north of the area near 34N43W and extends W-SW to central
Florida. Moderate to fresh trades will prevail south of 25N
through Sun. Low pressure near 31N79W 1016 mb has a trough that 
extends S-SW to near Stuart, Florida. Environmental conditions are
forecast to be marginally conducive for additional development of
this low, with potential for it to become a tropical cyclone over
the weekend while it meanders just offshore of the southeastern 
United States. Regardless of development, showers and 
thunderstorms and moderate to fresh winds can be expected over the
weekend off the Florida coast as the ridge remains in place.

27N. Seas 2 to 3 ft S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. Winds and 
seas higher in and near scattered showers and thunderstorms N of 
27N. Isolated showers and thunderstorms S of 27N.
.SAT...S of 27N, SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. N of 27N, 
S winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming SE 15 to 20 kt in the afternoon. 
Seas 4 to 6 ft building to 5 to 7 ft late. Scattered to numerous 
showers and thunderstorms. 
.SAT NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SE 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
