Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The Bermuda High extends across Florida to a second
1022 mb high across the N central Gulf of Mexico. This high
pressure ridge will drift westward over the weekend as low
pressure meanders offshore of the Atlantic waters of Florida,
providing tranquil marine conditions across the Gulf through
early next week.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
.TONIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Isolated 
showers and thunderstorms. 
.SAT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SAT NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered

.SYNOPSIS...The Atlantic ridge is centered on a 1028 mb high
north  of the area near 34N41W and extends W-SW to central
Florida. Moderate to fresh trades will prevail south of 25N 
through Sun. Low pressure along a frontal boundary will sink 
southward today through the weekend off the Georgia and NE Florida
coasts. Environmental conditions are forecast to be marginally 
conducive for some gradual development over the weekend and into 
early next week while the system drifts offshore of the 
southeastern United States. Regardless of development, showers and
thunderstorms and moderate to fresh winds can be expected over 
the weekend off the Florida coast as the ridge remains in place. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 to 3 ft S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N.
Winds and seas higher in and near scattered showers and
thunderstorms N of 27N. Isolated showers and thunderstorms S of
27N.
.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 to 3 ft S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SAT...S of 27N, SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. N of 27N, 
S winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming SE 15 to 20 kt in the afternoon. 
Seas 4 to 6 ft building to 5 to 7 ft late. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms.
