Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The Bermuda High extends westward along 27N and
towards the northeastern Gulf of Mexico. This ridge will
continue to sink southward through the forecast period,
providing tranquil conditions across the Gulf of Mexico for the
remainder of the week. Moderate to fresh E to SE winds will
pulse tonight to the NW of the Yucatan Peninsula and continue
through the end of the week. 

.TODAY...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N to NE in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong E winds will pulse in the afternoons
and evenings north of Hispaniola for the next several days. 
Moderate to fresh trades will prevail elsewhere south of 20N. 
Surface ridging associated with the Bermuda High will prevail
along 27N,leading toward quiescent conditions across the 
remainder of the western Atlantic. 

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft in E swell. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft in E swell in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or
less. 
.THU...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
