Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The Bermuda High extends a ridge southwestward
across the SE CONUS. As the ridge sinks southward during the
next few days, tranquil conditions will prevail across the Gulf
of Mexico. No tropical cyclone activity is expected over Gulf
through the forecast period.  

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong E winds will occur in the afternoons
and early evenings north of Hispaniola for the next several 
days. Surface ridging associated with the Bermuda High will 
slowly sink southward to 27N by midweek, leading toward 
quiescent conditions across the remainder of the SW N Atlantic 
waters. No tropical cyclone activity is expected through the
forecast period.

of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
