Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge extending from the Atlantic to
the central Gulf will continue to shift east-southeastward
through the weekend. Tropical Storm Elsa is forecast to
potentially move into the Straits of Florida by late Mon, then 
track over a portion of the eastern Gulf Tue before moving inland
central Florida late Tue. There continues to be a lot of 
uncertainty regarding the exact track and intensity of Elsa. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to SE after
midnight. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. NE winds 15 to
20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after midnight. 
.MON...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. NE to E winds 25 to
30 kt, increasing to 40 to 45 kt in the afternoon. Seas 3 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Atlantic high pressure will continue to shift 
southeastward through the weekend in response to a cold front 
that will approach the far northwest forecast waters. Moderate to
locally fresh winds are expected today and will become light to
gentle by Sun. There is still a lot of uncertainty with regards to
Tropical Storm Elsa, but the east coast of Florida could
potentially see tropical storm force winds by early to mid week.

20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
