Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A broad area of low pressure in the Bay of Campeche
will move little during the next day or so. The broad
disturbance should begin to move northward on Thu, and a
tropical depression is likely to form by late Thu or on Fri when
the low moves across the western Gulf of Mexico. This area has a
high chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next
48 hours.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas
3 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 to 4 ft late. Scattered tstms.

prevail across 26N through mid-week before retreating eastward

of 28N through mid-week as a pair of cold fronts pass north of 
the area.

N of 27N, S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft
or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and
