Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Gradual development of a broad area of low pressure
in the Bay of Campeche is possible while it meanders near the
coast of Mexico. The system should begin to move northward by
midweek, and a tropical depression is likely to form late in the
week when the low moves across the central or northwestern Gulf
of Mexico.  

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.WED...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.WED NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure across the area will
prevail across 26N through mid- week before retreating eastward
through  the end of the week. Winds will be fresh to strong
north of 28N  through mid- week as a pair of cold fronts pass
north of the area.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N.
