Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure ridging will remain over the
central Gulf of Mexico through early next week supporting mainly
gentle to moderate anticyclonic winds across the basin. A trough
of low pressure that has formed over the Bay of Campeche will
remain nearly stationary through early next week. Some slow
development is possible thereafter as this system begins to
drift northward.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure along 28N will sink
southward this weekend. Winds will be fresh north of 28N through
 early next week as pair of cold fronts move by north of the
area.
