Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front over the northern Gulf will move
eastward, reaching from north Florida to the east-central Gulf
by late tonight. It will weaken further to a trough as it
reaches the southeastern Gulf Mon and dissipates late Mon. An
upper- level trough will help generate scattered showers and
thunderstorms over most of the eastern Gulf waters today. Some
of this activity may contain frequent lightning and strong gusty
winds.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
Scattered showers and tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers
and tstms. 
.MON...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.

.THU...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SW to W in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE to E after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.  

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southerly winds east of Florida will
shift eastward through Mon ahead of a cold front that will move 
off the southeastern U.S. coast tonight. The front will reach
from near 31N75W to east-central Florida early Mon, from near
31N70W  to the central Bahamas and to east-central Cuba Mon
evening and  the southeast waters by late Tue. The front will
move east of the  forecast waters on Wed as weak high pressure
builds in behind it.  Another cold front is expected to cross
the northwest and north-  central waters beginning Tue. Fresh to
strong southwest winds are expected to precede this front.
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms, some strong to
severe, are expected to push off  the Florida coast today.

to numerous showers and tstms.
.TONIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.MON...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TUE...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.
