Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front is over the NW Gulf. Ahead of it, fresh southerly winds are over the central Gulf. The front will stall this morning, then continue eastward as a weak cold front reaching from the Florida panhandle to the central Gulf by early this evening. The front will weaken further to a trough as it reaches the southeastern Gulf Mon and dissipates late Mon. An upper-level trough will help generate scattered showers and thunderstorms over most of the eastern Gulf waters today. The front will move east of the forecast waters on Wed as weak high pressure builds in behind it. The high pressure will be displaced southeastward through Thu night as yet another cold front moves across the northwest and north-central waters.
