Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge building over the NE Gulf and
persistent low pressure near the coast of Mexico will support
increasing SE winds and building seas over the western and
central Gulf through midweek. A cold front is expected to move
into the NW Gulf on Thu, then stall and weaken over the central
Gulf Fri into this weekend.  

.OVERNIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt late. Seas 3 ft late,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Rough seas in NE swell will persist N of 29N and W of
77W through tonight as a low pressure trough lingers off the 
Florida coast. Elsewhere, a weakening cold front that extends from
near 31N73W across the central Bahamas to central Cuba will 
dissipate tonight. A high pressure ridge will build westward 
across the northern waters through midweek and persist into this 
weekend. 

.OVERNIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt late. Seas 2 ft or less S
of 27N, and 5 to 7 ft N of 27N. 
.TUE...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW less than 5 kt N
