Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak surface ridging has built across the basin in
the wake of a cold front that moved off the SE basin earlier
this afternoon. Return flow will establish over the gulf by Wed
morning ahead of the next frontal boundary to stall along the
northern gulf coast Thu and Thu night. Areas of sea fog are
possible over the northwest Gulf by the end of the week.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 31N69W to Fort
Lauderdale, Florida is supporting fresh to near gale force S to
SW winds ahead of the front to near 65W and N of 27N. The front 
is forecast to weaken and reach from 28N65W to 26N72W by Wed 
morning and move E of the area Wed afternoon. Surface ridging will
dominate the regional waters through Sat, supporting fresh to 
strong winds S of 22N with the strongest winds being between the 
Turk and Caicos Islands and Hispaniola. 

.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
