Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from Naples, Florida to 25N87W
where it stalls while continuing NW to the southern tip of Texas
coastal waters. The stationary portion of the front will
dissipate over the western Gulf today. The cold front will
continue to move SE and exit the basin this afternoon. Looking
ahead, a weak front may stall over the Texas coast Thu and Thu
night, and areas of sea fog is possible over the northwest Gulf
by the end of the week.  

.TODAY...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.WED...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 31N73W to West Palm
Beach, Florida is supporting fresh to strong S to SW winds ahead
of the front to near 65W and N of 27N. Gust to gale force winds
are possible ahead of the front over the north central offshore
waters through early this afternoon. The front is forecast to
weaken and reach from 28N65W to 26N72W by Wed morning and move E
of the area Wed afternoon. Surface ridging will dominate the
regional waters  through Sat, supporting fresh to strong winds S
of 22N with the strongest winds being between the Turk and
Caicos Islands and Hispaniola. 

.TODAY...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED...S of 27N,E winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N,NE to E winds
5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
