Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the Florida Panhandle to
the central Bay of Campeche. Reinforcing cold air behind the
front will induce gale force northerly winds near Tampico, and
in the Veracruz region tonight into Fri. Gales are also expected
in the Bay of Campeche on Fri, with seas building to 14-16 ft.
The front will reach from near Tampa Bay, Florida to the eastern
Bay of Campeche on Fri morning, exiting the basin by Fri
evening. High pressure will be in control of the Gulf region
during the upcoming weekend.  

.TONIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.FRI...SW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming W to NW 20 to 25 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers. 
.FRI NIGHT...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southerly winds are occurring east
of Florida ahead of the Gulf of Mexico cold front. It will
extend  from 31N79W to central Florida on Fri, from 31N73W
across the NW  Bahamas into western Cuba Fri night, from 31N67W
to central Cuba  on Sat, then stall and weaken from 24N65W to
central Cuba on Sun.  A band of showers and thunderstorms will
accompany the front. High pressure north of the front will
support fresh to strong NE to E  winds across the western
Atlantic Sat night through Mon. 

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. S of 27N, seas 2 ft or
less, building to 3 ft late. N of 27N, seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 ft S of 27N, and 5 to 7 ft N of 27N. Scattered
showers. 
.FRI NIGHT...S of 27N, S winds 10 to 15 kt,  shifting to N to NE
late. N of 27N, SW to W winds 20 to 25 kt, shifting to NW 15 to
20 kt late. Seas 3 ft S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
