Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from a 1009 low near southern
Louisiana to near Tuxpan, Mexico. The front will move across the
basin through Fri, with strong to near gale force northerly
winds behind it. Moderate to fresh E to SE winds are expected 
across the Gulf this weekend. 

.TONIGHT...SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.FRI...SW winds 15 to 20 kt, shifting to NW 20 to 25 kt in the

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southerly winds will develop east of
Florida on Thu as a cold front moves across the Gulf of Mexico. 
The front will extend from 31N77W to Fort Pierce Florida on Fri, 
from 31N64W across the Bahamas to central Cuba Sat, then stall 
and weaken on Sun. Numerous showers and strong thunderstorms are 
possible ahead of the front as it moves east of Florida.
