Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A 1012 mb low is along a frontal boundary over the NE Gulf waters. These features will continue weakening tonight. To the west, a 1009 mb low is centered near 24N95W, with trough extending from 27N96W to 21N93W. Winds will begin to increase over the western Gulf tonight in the vicinity if the low. A cold front will form overnight and extend southward from the low pressure and move eastward across the basin. Winds and seas will diminish across the region by early Tue. The next cold front will enter the western Gulf late Wed, then exit east of the basin by Fri afternoon.
