Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure across the southern U.S. that extends
into the Gulf of Mexico will shift eastward through Thu, ahead
of a cold front that will move into the northern Gulf early Fri
morning. The front will stall from the Big Bend of Florida to
Brownsville Texas Fri afternoon, then weaken and drift northward
though Sat night. Fresh to locally strong southerly winds are
expected ahead of the front on Thu.  

.TODAY...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.THU...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft late. 
.FRI...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front extending from SE of Bermuda
near 31N60W to the coast of Haiti near 20N72W will reach from
24N65W to the Dominican Republic later today. Northerly swell in 
the wake of the front will propagate across the forecast waters 
through Thu.

.TODAY...NW winds 15 to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 6 to 
9 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft S of 27N, 
and 5 to 7 ft N of 27N. 
.THU...Variable winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and
3 to 5 ft N of 27N.
