Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from Marco Island, Florida to south of Tampico, Mexico will exit the basin by this afternoon. Fresh to strong winds accompany this front. These winds will prevail across the Gulf through Tuesday. As the ridge gradually shift east Tue and Wed, southerly winds return across the Gulf with seas building over the western Gulf ahead of the next cold front.
